<p>Joseph G. Leisten, Sr., age 78, formerly of Des Plaines, passed away November 25, 2022. Beloved husband of the late Jean Leisten, nee Moloney. Loving father of Kathy Leisten (Lawrence Hatcher, Christine (Tom) Grimm, Michelle (Josh) Jennings, and Joey (Callie) Leisten. Dearest grandfather of Jacob, Molly Jean, Logan, Everett, Riley, Trevor, Mariah, and Mya. Devoted brother of Jeanne Leisten, Ed (Karen) Leisten, Donna (Howie) Lafin, Denise (Tom) Lackowski, Mary Kay (Nick) Colletti, and the late Bill Leisten. Fond uncle of many. Preceded in death by his parents William and Constance Leisten.</p><p><br></p><p>Visitation Friday, 3:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Rd. at Northwest Highway, Mount Prospect. Funeral Mass Saturday, 11:45 a.m. at St. Zachary Church, 567 W. Algonquin Rd., Des Plaines. Interment All Saints Cemetery.</p><p><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 230 E.
