The Victron Smart Battery Sense provides accurate battery temperature and voltage data to your Victron MPPT charge controller. As it is mounted directly on the battery and transmits the data by Bluetooth, it eliminates any errors that might result from voltage drop over long cable runs. The temperature data allows your MPPT controller to adjust the output voltage and so provide optimised charging conditions for your particular battery's requirements.
