Thanks to it's overlapping sleeve, the Moment Post Base is ideal for decks, fences, carports and other outdoor applications. The MPB also provides an internal 1" standoff to keep the wood member off the ground, keeping it clear of the ground to prevent decay of the post, while eliminating additional assembly and extra parts.
