Troop Zero' Trailer: Viola Davis Stars In 's '70s-Set, Southern-Fried Comedy - Blavity

has released the first trailer for Troop Zero, starring Viola Davis and Allison Janney. The film, which premiered in January at the Sundance Film Festival, will be available January 17, 2020, on Prime Video, foregoing a theatrical release. Troop Zero also stars Mckenna Grace, Jim Gaffigan, Mike Epps, Edi Patterson, Charlie Shotwell with Milan Ray, Johanna Colón and Bella Higginbotham. It follows a young outcast and member of a Girl Scouts-like organization as they prepare for a competition. Our Sundance review of the film reads, “It’s a voyage with an emotional ending that will tug at your heartstrings. Another crucial part of the narrative is mourning, with a specific interest in the impact of death on children.
