The Lambada is a dance performed in Dancing with the Stars. The dance originated from Brazil and became popular in the 1980s, and was even advertised in the 1990 New Year ball drop. The dance was only performed in Season 9. Three couples performed this dance on Week 4 in Season 9: Aaron Carter and Karina Smirnoff, Joanna Krupa and Derek Hough, and Mýa and Dmitry Chaplin.
